Measuring Analytes in Maternal Archived Samples (MAMAS) – MAMAS 3
The Measuring Analytes in Maternal Archived Samples (MAMAS) project is designed to evaluate chemical exposures of pregnant individuals across California. For the MAMAS project, Biomonitoring California is analyzing a subset of blood samples collected as part of prenatal screening conducted by California’s Genetic Disease Screening Program (GDSP).
Samples used in MAMAS came from counties across California and were analyzed in three phases: MAMAS 1, MAMAS 2, and MAMAS 3.
